Shopping Centre Forum
Mannerheimintie 14-20 Premises: Kamppi, Mannerheimintie 14-20, 00101 Helsinki
Forum has blossomed into an even stronger centre for fashion and the restaurant world. Forum Block is one of the busiest thoroughfares in Helsinki. From there, you can reach other parts of the city centre, such as the central railway station and the Kamppi transit terminal, through an underground walkway. The landmark of the Forum properties is the high glass tower of the Forum shopping centre at the corner of Mannerheimintie 20 and Simonkatu. The shopping centre building, originally completed in 1983, has recently been renovated. The significant renovation of EUR 56 million expanded the property’s retail space by 8,000 square metres. In total, the shopping centre houses almost 40,000 square metres of retail space.
All properties in the Forum Block have been awarded a BREEAM In-Use Excellent -level certification. BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is an international green building certification system aimed at reducing the environmental impact of the use of buildings as well as the development of healthier working environments.
The Forum Block is also fully carbon neutral in terms of energy consumption during use.
