The centre is easy to reach and besides shopping it also offers food and events. In addition to fashion, daily shopping and interior decoration, you may also enjoy treats and delicacies or the pampering of beauty and health services. The shopping centre has more than 100 stores, 23 of which are restaurants and cafes. Situated on the shore of the Ratina backwater, the Ratina shopping centre offers three buildings worth of space for doing things together.
In addition to the brand new Ratina building, the centre also contains the two older, familiar buildings, Ranta-Ratina and Ratinan Kulma. The shopping centre is easily accessible via public transportation and there is a direct escalator connection between Ratina and the coach station. P-Ratina, the largest garage in the city centre, has room for 1,200 visitors arriving by car.
The shopping centre Ratina has been awarded a BREEAM In-Use Excellent -level certification. BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is an international green building certification system aimed at reducing the environmental impact of the use of buildings as well as the development of healthier working environments.
Ratina is also fully carbon neutral in terms of energy consumption during use.
Ratina is located along major streets and pedestrian and bicycle routes of the city centre, which is why it is easy to reach from the centre and further away alike. Ratina can be accessed on foot, by bicycle, car and public transport.
Ratina includes two grocery stores, specialty shops selling products and services in the areas of fashion, wellness, interior design and recreation, as well as a diverse range of restaurants and cafés.
Visiting the shopping centre is convenient, thanks to the functional and modern parking facility on the underground levels. The parking facility has capacity for approximately 1,200 cars on two levels. The shopping centre can be directly accessed from the parking levels by escalators, inclined moving walkways and lifts.
