Arbitrator appointed for the arbitration proceedings concerning the redemption of minority shares in Sponda Plc

The Redemption Committee of the Finland Chamber of Commerce has appointed an arbitral tribunal consisting of one arbitrator for the redemption proceedings concerning the redemption of shares in Sponda Plc (“Sponda“) not held by Polar Bidco S.à r.l. (“Polar Bidco“). The arbitral tribunal comprises attorney-at-law, LL.D. Justus Könkkölä.

Sponda announced earlier that Polar Bidco has on July 26, 2017 commenced redemption proceedings in respect of minority shares in Sponda by initiating arbitration proceedings in accordance with the Finnish Companies Act in order to obtain ownership of all the shares in Sponda.
